I haven't really done anything exciting, but I'm trying to get into a regular blogging habit. Did a little bit of writing today. It's not Trixie related and I have no idea if I'll be brave enough to put it out in public. I did a little research for a story. I didn't want to get too involved as I don't want to write it until I've at least got Dan and Fiona's wedding completed. It's probably about 80% finished, I just need to knuckle down and do it.

There's some unpleasant things coming in this universe. I have changed one thing. I guess I can reveal it because I seriously doubt that I'll change my mind. In the early stages of my plan for this universe, Fiona was going to die. She was still going to die until Dan proposed to her in On This Christmas Day. That was an event I never planned, it really just happened by accident. When I wrote it, I felt that I couldn't do that to Dan. I'd even written her death scene. Her death was going to have some impact on future stories, but they'll just have to be re-written. Only one is going to be tricky - I just need to work out a suitable premise and I'll be fine. Actually, this entire universe hasn't unfolded how I initially envisioned. It was meant to be Trixie focused but everyone else has had to have their say - especially Dan. I think I've given up trying to maintain any control over this universe. *G*

Several years ago, one of the cellphone companies used a particular song's chorus in an advertisement. While playing around on youtube, I discovered tonight that the rest of the song is rather crude. I can't wait to inform my sister as she really liked it. I love youtube. I've managed to watch quite a few things that either I haven't seen before or I haven't seen in years. Great fun!
