4 Shifts To Go

The countdown is on! I've ended up doing an extra couple of nightshifts because of another staff member being sick. I ended up doing another double shift on Thursday and then was asked if I could continue the nights. I'm such a pushover. It does mean I do score an extra day off. I have the rest of today off, plus tomorrow. Originally it would have only been Monday off. Then it's only 4 more shifts.

I'm going to be seeing Chris Isaak in concert in Melbourne in November. Yay!!! I'm really excited. I didn't know he was touring until by brother said. I have bought my ticket, but have to wait until I'm over there before I can hold it in my hot little hand.

Had a patient death yesterday. Because he'd been involved in an accident, the police were involved and had to come up to the ward to pick up the body. Why is it the police have the ability to make you feel nervous even when you've done nothing wrong? They were very nice, but I was still somewhat anxious.
