update

I had to laugh when I saw that procrastinating was this week's Silly Survey. I wouldn't know anything about that now, would I? I did manage to get the place tidied up. Bought a new vacuum cleaner. It's a tiny wee thing, but it's got a good suck on it. It's been nice having my sister and nephew visit, but I'm looking forward to seeing them go. They leave tomorrow morning. I miss my own routine and space. I felt like a meanie having to tell Dominic not to keep touching things. He kept sticking his fingers in the video, pushing buttons, playing in the cat food. I think Grizz was a bit traumatised by the whole thing. I only really saw her at night when he was asleep.

I now have my laptop, and have had a bit of a play on it. I've managed to get myself hooked up to the internet. All I need is to get myself a mouse. I can do stuff with that touchy thing, but I really prefer a mouse. I have also discovered that sitting on the couch with my laptop isn't going to work if the cat's around. She doesn't like sharing my lap. Oh well, I'll probably manage better on the table anyway.
