This and That

Went to the 24 hour second hand booksale last night after work. I only bought one book. Yes, only one. I couldn't believe it. No, it wasn't through amazing self-control, but quite simply because there wasn't anything I wanted to buy. Previous years I've been looking out for Trixie books that I don't have. But I've completed all my sets now. I didn't want to get in to anything new either. The book I did get was Denial by Keith Ablow. That's the one with the mention of Trixie Belden. I've been wanting to read it, but hadn't been able to obtain a copy, and paying $1 for a hardback isn't too bad. I'm still procrastinating something shocking. I planned on finishing off my story on Wednesday because I had an early finish and a late start. Well, I ended up spending 4 hours IMing with Kimberly from Zap's. It's the first time we've thought about getting together like this and chatted away. We have so many things in common, and it was a much better way of getting to know one another rather than through random posts on the message board. Hopefully I'll have a quiet night at work (the dreaded nightshift) and I'll be able to scribble something down. My step-mother has got me my laptop and my sister will bring it down. Yipeee!!! I love new toys. *g*

I feel the need for some more caffeine. It's my first night and I'm a little jaded. Unfortunately it's not even midnight, and I don't finish until 7.15am. I think it's going to be a long night.
