I have no ward!!!!!!!
Well, technically we still do - although we are currently closed. We've close due to lack of patients. I suppose that is a good thing in a way. On Friday when I worked in the morning, we were going to end up with only 2 patients. Hard to justify having 2 nurses working. We have to have the 2 nurses because of our isolation, if there's an emergency there's no one near. Our ward is on the same floor as the ICU and NICU, and they're too far away - they wouldn't be able to hear anyone yell. Other wards are closer together and you could get away with having one nurse working. We sent our patients to one of the orthopedic wards. I had Saturday off because I wasn't needed, and yesterday looked after my patients on a foreign ward. It wasn't too bad, quite fun actually. We had McDonald's for brunch - they swear they don't normally do that! I'm now on days off and we should be reopened on Wednesday when I'm back. We didn't have any surgery scheduled until Wednesday either.
I'm going to be lucky to be able to move tomorrow thanks to my personal trainer. My muscles are soooo sore! I've had a nice warm bath but I don't think it's going to do the trick.
Bought Ken Burns' The Civil War on DVD today, so now I can toss out my videos.
Pleased my sister greatly as I've managed to find some red rugby shorts for my niece and nephew. Don't know how many shops I ended up going to. Since I've paid for the shorts she will pay my share of Mum's Mother's Day present.
Grey's Anatomy is on tonight. I haven't gotten around to watching the last 3 episodes I've had taped, but I think I'll watch it anyway. I don't think I have any tape room anyway. Must do some watching tomorrow, because I'll need to tape Spooks on Thursday.
