Blatherings

Not a great deal to say really. Just pottering around. It's mostly been work or home. Done a little bit of writing. Still trying to plug my way through the story that's taken up most of my writing energy. I'm just finding it emotionally draining at present - not entirely sure why. Everytime I right on it I end up in tears. It's also the longest single piece of written. The way I'm going I'm going to have next years word count completed by this year's anniversary. So I'm happy about that!

Got an unexpected money bonus. Turns out they hadn't paid me the correct amount of money, so I got the in my pay this week. I was owed $3000. Unfortunately the government took $1000 in tax. GRRRRR!!!!!!!!! Trying to decide what to spend it on. I should use it for when I move to Oz, but some of my colleagues tell me to go shopping. I'll just leave it in the bank for the moment.

Starts nights again in a couple of days. Only 2 again, but it does seem to be never ending. Oh the joys of shiftwork!
